A Old Man And His Secret

There was an old man who was facing the greatest challenge of his life. A few months earlier he had lost the love of his life. While in a medical facility one day he got speaking to a charming and delightful younger woman. (Then again at his age most women are younger) The more she told her life story and how she had “bet” on herself the more he became engulfed in her story. When they were done speaking they both seemed to realized that something much more important had taken place than what was originally intended.

She really is a special woman and probably she has different thoughts about what happened that day.

All the old man knows is that this special lady has changed his life forever and it is a secret that he can’t share with her because doing so might offend her and for him that can never be an option.

Railroad Tracks Of Life

As we go through life it can feel that we are constantly being run over by a train. One can often feel like your back is nothing but a series of railroad tracks.

However , they are not, but what they are is the Lord Jesus Christ taking you through your life’s journey. There are 2 reasons for this happening. The first is to prepare you to fulfill your life’s work here on earth and the second is to prepare you to come see him in eternal glory!

So you can either embrace your train of life or complain about it but the truth be known you really don’t have a choice.

What You Are Going Through Others Can’t Understand

Some people have this bad habit of expressing to someone that they know what they are going through during tough times. The truth is they don’t have a clue and sometimes I think people don’t know what to say. It is ok to be honest with someone else who is hurting by telling them they you don’t understand.

If God has put it on your heart to reach out to someone then do it. It’s a mistake to allow other factors to interfere with what God has put on your heart.

Maybe that person who is hurting so bad just needs to hear the sound of someone else’s voice. Maybe something that is more tangible. Especially when it comes to serious health issues.

So has God put something on your heart tonight or in the last few days then you probably need to get to it as soon as possible because God put that on your heart. It’s up to you to act on it.

Today is……..

The calendar says it July 26th of the year 2025. Or is it the day The Lord God Almighty calls you home to the eternal paradise? So many of us have wasted so much time thinking we had more time than we actually did with working on something.

However, when we look at scripture it tells us something different altogether. It clearly does not say when the end is coming and to think otherwise is foolish. One of the ironies of losing my wife has been me thinking I have so much more time now she is gone. Funny thing is God decided before I was conceived how much time I was going to have on this earth. So is today the day you think it is or is it the day The Lord God Almighty calls you home?
